Teenagers are no longer children nor adults yet, something in between that tremendously need to have a special value and dedication. Education tends to guide the new generations so that they find their talent, but at the same time it tries to frame them and pigeonhole them into a structure pre-established by society oriented towards efficiency and competition. The result is that a teenager often feels in crisis, not listened to, forced and repressed because she/he does not have the space to be free in her/his inner search and transformation. The adolescent begins to feel like a dropout, a non-belonger, alien to the mechanisms and conditioning around her/him, including the family which sometimes does not have the tools to establish conscious relationships. If what you read resonates with you, this course is for you.
You will have the opportunity to contact your primary creative source, release expressive blocks and feel part of an artistic Tribe.
Through painting and creative exercises you will be able to contact the life force for the expansion of your energy and flowering.
You will find your authentic expression, your fresh, pure language, which does not feel judgment or manipulation.
You will be able to have fun and socialise in a protected and meditative environment, in which everyone is on a journey to discover and enhance their own self. Art is that magical territory in which everyone can feel free!

Gli adolescenti non sono più bambini, né ancora adulti. Si sentono in quella fase intermedia che ha un tremendo bisogno di avere un valore e una dedizione speciali. L’educazione tende a guidare le nuove generazioni affinché trovino il loro talento, ma nello stesso tempo cerca di inquadrarle e incasellarle in una struttura prestabilita dalla società orientata all’efficienza e alla competizione. Il risultato è spesso che un adolescente si sente in crisi, non ascoltato, costretto e represso poiché non ha lo spazio per essere libero nella sua ricerca e nella sua trasformazione interiore. L’adolescente inizia a sentirsi un drop-out, un non-appartenente, alieno ai meccanismi e condizionamenti intorno, inclusa la famiglia che talvolta non ha strumenti per instaurare relazioni consapevoli. Se ciò che leggi ti risuona, questo corso fa per te.
Avrai l'opportunità di contattare la tua fonte creativa primaria, liberare blocchi espressivi e sentirti parte di una Tribù artistica. Attraverso la pittura e gli esercizi creativi potrai contattare la forza vitale per l'espansione della tua energia e la fioritura. Troverai la tua espressione autentica, il tuo linguaggio fresco, puro, che non sente giudizio o manipolazione. Potrai divertirti e socializzare in un ambiente protetto e meditativo, in cui ognuno è in viaggio alla scoperta e alla valorizzazione del proprio sé. L'arte è quel territorio magico in cui ognuno può sentirsi libero!
From abstract to figurative/Dall’astratto al figurativo

To stimulate the imagination of a teenager (especially a child in transition to become a teen) I let her/him paint freely, with no goal, abstract, random, like primal painting. This is the first layer and the first step. Once it is dry I invite her/him to see objective figures in it. The second step is dedicated to liberate the figures from the painting and make them visible. Stains become something else: creatures, objects, animals, symbols, cartoons. Wonderful surreal creations are the outcome of this process in which teens have the chance to express their own world with fun.

Per stimolare l'immaginazione di un adolescente (specialmente un* bambin* in transizione per diventare adolescente) lascio che lui/lei dipinga liberamente, senza scopo, astratto, casuale, come la pittura primal. Questo è il primo strato e il primo passo. Una volta asciutto lo invito a vedervi delle figure oggettive. Il secondo passaggio è dedicato a liberare le figure dal dipinto e renderle visibili. Le macchie diventano altro: creature, oggetti, animali, simboli, cartoni animati. Meravigliose creazioni surreali sono il risultato di questo processo in cui gli adolescenti hanno la possibilità di esprimere il proprio mondo divertendosi.

The result is that a teenager often feels in crisis, not listened to, forced and repressed because she/he does not have the space to be free in her/his inner search and transformation. Alternative education reverses the point of view, starting to design an education where the young, with his/her needs, is at the center of the learning process. Oriented to inclusion, alternative education choose art as the ideal pedagogical tool to free the authentic expression of everybody.

L’educazione tende a orientare le nuove generazioni affinché trovino il proprio talento, ma allo stesso tempo cerca di inquadrarle in una struttura precostituita dalla società orientata all’efficienza e alla competizione. Il risultato è che un adolescente spesso si sente in crisi, non ascoltato, costretto e represso perché non ha lo spazio per essere libero nella sua ricerca e trasformazione interiore. L'educazione alternativa ribalta il punto di vista, iniziando a progettare un'educazione dove il giovane, con i suoi bisogni, è al centro del processo di apprendimento. Orientata all’inclusione, l’educazione alternativa sceglie l’arte come strumento pedagogico ideale per liberare l’espressione autentica di tutti.

The trend of modern society is to increase the use of technology for the production of objects, logistics, communication, education, actually for any sectors. As a result, the younger generation feels alienated by device abuse. Using our hands gives us the ability to be present in the here and now, releasing tensions and creating something unique. The rediscovery of arts&crafts traditions gives us the chance to open our minds to forgotten languages and cultures and at the same time to develop manual skill.

La tendenza della società moderna è quella di incrementare l'uso della tecnologia per la produzione di oggetti, la logistica, la comunicazione, l'istruzione, insomma per qualsiasi settore. Di conseguenza, le generazioni più giovani si sentono alienate dall'abuso dei dispositivi. Usare le mani ci dà la capacità di essere presenti nel qui e ora, sciogliendo le tensioni e creando qualcosa di unico. La riscoperta delle tradizioni artistiche e artigianali ci dà la possibilità di aprire la nostra mente a lingue e culture dimenticate e allo stesso tempo sviluppare l'abilità manuale.

Nowadays, the accessibility of information via Internet has made knowledge 'fast-food'. Kids are not used to memorising and deepening knowledge because when they need to know something they Google it. Oil painting instead allows for an internalisation of culture. Layer after layer, the teens come into more and more contact with the masterpieces of art history. I also accompany this process with stories about the authors in order to provide them with a complete and indelible experience.

Oggigiorno l'accessibilità all’informazione tramite internet ha reso il sapere ‘fast-food’. I ragazzi non sono abituati a memorizzare e approfondire la conoscenza perché quando hanno bisogno di sapere qualcosa la trovano su “Google”. La pittura ad olio consente invece una interiorizzazione della cultura. Velatura dopo velatura i ragazzi entrano sempre più in contatto con i capolavori della storia dell’arte. Accompagno questo processo anche con racconti sugli autori in modo da fornire loro una esperienza completa ed indelebile.
